Speeding Tickets
Speeding is one of the most common traffic violations we see here in Central Ohio. Section 4511.21 of the Ohio Revised Code explains what the various speed limits should be in certain areas as well as the offense level. Speeding is often a minor misdemeanor, but if you have a prior record for speeding, that offense level may be increased to a more serious misdemeanor.

When you didn’t see that stop sign, the traffic light was pink by the time you went through, or that pesky sign tells you not to turn left.

The school bus driver actually has a duty to report any vehicle that passes them while they are picking up or dropping off kids. You’ve all seen those signs on the side of the bus and the flashing red lights. This offense requires your presence in court and can even result in a license suspension.

There are particularly strict rules when you drive for a living. Even if you are in your personal vehicle, these more stringent rules may apply.
